Out of the darkness comes lemon

Lemon tones will come and go
And seep into a frosted glow
And watch as shadows over-throw
The creatures coming to and fro

The owl will call out to the night
Piercing through the dusty light
As amber shades curl in so tight
Distracted by a dim moonlight

Oh heavy heart I used to know
A distant memory passes go
But I do not stop to say hello
I pass on by with head held low

Oh wicked game—oh wicked night
Wake me not without my sight
Bring my back to pure daylight
Grant this wish I make tonight
